We meet at the Gathering Grounds Coffee House/Discovery Church (205 W. 3rd St.) at 9am sharp. You'll be done by 10am, and you're welcome to leave early if you have to.

St. John's Lutheran will be hosting it's annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, July 18th from 4-7pm! Be sure to stop by to enjoy all the great items being served, including taverns, hot dogs, pie, cake, ice cream and root beer floats! All proceeds go to St. John's Christian Education!

A “Lewis & Clark Lake Stakeholder Workshop” organized by MSAC (Missouri Sediment Action Coalition) occurs Friday, July 20 from 9:30 to 12:30 at the NFAA Easton Archery Center in Yankton to identify parties interested in submitting a formal request for the development and implementation of a sediment management plan for Upper Missouri River reservoirs, including the Missouri River above Sioux City.

Summer heat and beautiful sunsets have us fishing by the Missouri and wearing lighter clothing has us in a spring fever! It is a perfect excuse to pick your favorite pastel colors, a cup of coffee or iced tea, and a paintbrush. (snacks will be included). The theme will incorporate a beloved summer fruit at the monastery, watermelon! A short introduction and meditation will start the class.
