The Human Services Center in Yankton, South Dakota is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Chief Compliance Officer. This position is responsible for statutory and regulatory compliance in clinical and operational aspects for the entire facility and for implementing and overseeing Continuous Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement Processes at HSC. The Chief Compliance Officer will ensure the facility is implementing best clinical practices for the delivery of care to patients while maintaining and exceeding regulatory expectations and life safety requirements. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelors degree. Ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree, quality assurance certifications, and demonstrate successful experience with a health services organization.
The Human Services Center is a licensed in-patient state psychiatric hospital and chemical dependency treatment facility equipped with 277 beds which provides services for acute, psychiatric rehabilitation, geriatric and adolescent patients. Primary job duties include: •working with all departments and programs to identify Performance Indicators/Quality Measures throughout the facility with focus on utilizing relevant data to assist in making decisions for operations and delivery of service; •evaluating hospital policy and procedures for compliance with all regulatory requirements; •coordinating, implementing and monitoring all preventative maintenance requirements for the facility as well as identify and prioritize capital improvement projects; •serving as the Safety Coordinator for the facility and assure compliance with all Life Safety regulations.
