3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Proven analytical, communication and computer skills. Self-starter and problem solver.
The Finance Analyst will report directly to the Plant Controller Blank Ad Assist the leadership and direction for managing the Operation’s Financial Position, Financial Interpretation, Assets, Procurement Activity, and Internal Controls. Assists with the development of annual operating plans, departmental budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, cost reduction initiatives/ recommendations and inventory control. Key responsibilities: • Provide data and analysis to the Plant Controller on a daily and month-end basis. Generate the Internal P&L, Balance Sheet and Open Order status to be used in this analysis. • Provide financial and manufacturing data analysis to Financial, Manufacturing, Administrative and Commercial managers on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. • Perform month end closing activities and ledger entries. • Assist in monthly and annual physical inventory counts and reconciliations. • Perform both monthly and weekly standard cost maintenance of both metal and manufacturing conversion costs. Monitor standards to help ensure costs, BOMS, and production transactions are accurate. • Monitor Oracle system for stuck pending transactions on a daily and month-end basis. Clear these or request help chain support to clear. • Open and close inventory accounting periods on a monthly basis for all four Yankton Inventory Orgs. • Liaise with other locations relating to inter-company transactions. Support AP, AR, and GL functions.
