Membership & Outreach Coordinator

Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, business development or related field. Must be able to anticipate project needs, set goals and priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Excellent customer service skills and proper phone etiquette. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to connect with others and build relationships across all demographics. Professional demeanor including workplace confidentiality; working relationships and behavior around members, sponsors and NFAA officers. Positive and upbeat attitude. Must be able to handle high stress situations in a calm manner. Ability to work with members of a team. Physically able to perform event tasks, must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Proficient with Mac and Microsoft Office. (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Knowledge or experience with database and/or database management a plus. Must work onsite. Relocation to Yankton area is preferred. Position may require travel to events. If necessary, compensation for tournament attendance will include all travel, room and board. Please note extended hours may be required through events.
National Field Archery Association - Yankton, SD The Membership & Outreach Coordinator will play a vital role in the national development of NFAA programs, memberships, events and its database. The Outreach Coordinator will work directly with the 49 state organizations and 500+ clubs to promote the NFAA and grow membership at the grassroots level. Responsibilities will include: Assist in the creation and implementation of annual outreach plans. Act as a liaison between the state organizations, local clubs and NFAA Headquarters. Work to promote the creation of new clubs. Assist with promotion of local and state events. Create archery event guides and/or kits for local and state events. Establish a network of event organizers and volunteers at the local level. Provide customer service for local, state and sectional events. Assist in the development of new and existing NFAA programs, including youth, bowhunting, leagues and Try Archery events. Work with marketing staff on the development and distribution of marketing materials for NFAA programs and membership recruitment. Assist in conducting and compiling surveys and feedback forms and recognizing key areas for growth and/or improvement. Manage the use and maintenance of the NFAA membership database. Ensure consistency and accuracy of data input. Prepare and distribute various membership reports to state, sectional and national officers. Use reports to identify opportunities for growth and/or improvements.
