• High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree or technical training preferred. • Working knowledge in shop math with the practical applications of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Skill in performing a variety of duties often changing from one task to another. • Ability to read, interpret and follow safety regulations, equipment and procedural manuals and instructions. • Ability to prioritize and effectively complete tasks with fluctuating workloads, deadline demands and changes in assignment. • One year prior experience operating a CNC machine preferred.
Operation of CNC production equipment in a cellular production environment for the production of precision machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace industry. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operation of CNC equipment. • Load and unload tools, programs, parts and material. • Make tooling adjustments (offsets). • Precision inspection of product. • Perform preventative maintenance. • Perform housekeeping requirements. • Do labor vouchering and record keeping. • Other duties as assigned. 2nd shift is from 4pm - 2am.
