1. Education and/or Experience a. B.S. in Engineering b. Two years experience designing mechanical products using 3D CAD software tools. 2. Desirable Skills a. Must have great communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers and internal cross functional teams. b. Knowledge of engineering standards and procedures (FMEA, structural analysis, root cause analysis, GD&T, etc.) is required. c. Working knowledge of construction or agricultural heavy equipment and experience with metal fabrication is desired. d. Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision while keeping assigned projects on schedule and budget.
As a Project Engineer, you will communicate with customers and internal teams to define unmet customer needs. After identifying potential opportunities, you will then utilize CAD tools to create accurate models and drawings as well as design, build, and test engineering prototypes. On a daily basis, you will be expected to work with various teams to ensure products can be manufactured and designed properly as well as participate on, or lead cross functional teams to launch new products. The project engineer will be tasked with organizing and managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
