Yankton Area Arts Tuesday night Summer Concert Series includes four pops concerts at Riverside Amphitheatre on July 9, 16, 23 and 30
East of Westreville is a blues to bluegrass road trip... with a few stops along the way! It is Americana roots music: bluegrass, blues, gospel, folk, and country—an ever-changing mix of music and memories.
East of Westreville reminiscent of the days when all that was needed for entertainment was a barn dance or a Philco radio and a comfy chair. Get ready for a great evening of foot-stomping, hand-clapping music, intertwined with homespun humor. If you liked the music from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou," you'll love this great show.
Kaija Bonde (vocals), Boyd Bristow (lead guitar & vocals), Brian Bonde (rhythm guitar & vocals), Al Slaathaug (acoustic upright bass).
This is a production of The Comfort Theatre Company, a professional company based in Sioux Falls. They are the producers of hits "Always... Patsy Cline, " "Of Thee I Swing" and other productions. The web site at www.eastof.com has more information on shows, latest show schedule and much more.
Support is provided with funds from the State of South Dakota, through the Department of Tourism and State Development, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
If there is inclement weather, all concerts will be held at the Summit Activities Center Theater, 1801 Summit Street.
