Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. APICS coursework or CPIM certification a plus. Essential Qualifications: 1. Operate general office equipment including telephone, computer, calculator, fax, etc. 2. Ability to work well with others and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. 3. Use of required safety equipment, including safety glasses. 4. Perform work in a heavy industrial setting with exposure to dust and noise.

Responsibilities:
Establish appropriate stock inventory levels for stock-manufactured items. Create and maintain stock work orders. Establish and maintain appropriate stock levels for forecast service parts. Work with parts sales and shop to expedite shipment of non-stock items. Create shop floor documentation and ensure inventory record accuracy levels with the aid of inventory transactions and cycle counts. Ensure maintenance of stock inventory database. Oversee the production schedule. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and direct the activities of Parts Room, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control, and Production Control personnel. 2. Review of material requirements planning (MRP) reports. 3. Daily release of stock work orders for manufactured parts with regard to MRP, the Master Production Schedule, and any forecast information. 4. Establish and maintain adequate stock levels for manufactured forecast parts. 5. Assure the timely shipment of all service parts. 6. Review inventory obsolescence reports and disposition items to be scrapped or sold as salvage, per Company policy. 7. Maintain stock inventory database including part descriptions, unit of measure, economic order quantities, and minimum balances. 8. Assure that stock parts needed for production are delivered to shop floor in a timely and orderly fashion. 9. Review engineering changes and update work orders with latest revisions and cancellations, with engineering involvement to verify stock status. 10. Generation and entry of daily cycle count reports on a regular basis. 11. Coordination of annual physical inventory. 12. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Company polices. 13. Implement Lean principles. 14. Executes internal Sarbanes-Oxley control responsibilities with diligence and integrity. These internal control responsibilities are communicated to the person fulfilling this position, and periodic feedback is provided as it relates to performance of internal control responsibilities. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform special projects upon request. 2. Provide assistance and/or perform other related duties as required.
