• Two year degree and/or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. • Have a practical understanding and in engineering drawing interpretation to include GD&T requirements • Individual must be able to work with little to no supervision after initial training period, showing a high degree of initiative and self-motivation. Must demonstrate consistently with excellent work ethic. • Be able to accurately and efficiently generate designs, standard operating procedures, etc. • Possess excellent organizational skills, technical capacity and problem solving/analysis abilities. • The ability to teach and train others in a coach or mentor role as needed. • Able to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information • Possess strong computer skills including various engineering software’s and Microsoft Office Suite

Summary/Objective: The Engineer Technician supports Manufacturing Engineering activity related to the manufacturing process. Manufacturing engineering develops and implements cost-effective manufacturing processes in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities • Support Manufacturing Engineering in the following Activities: o Identify and write Process work instructions, “Standard Work” o Create Part specific work instructions “Wire Frames” o Validate work instructions o Process analysis and Data Collection o Analyze SPC data o Identify – Research new processes technology, assembly methods, and manufacturing equipment. o Maintain & update detailed layouts of buildings and equipment. o Assist in the analysis of non-conforming product. • Assist in the implementation of new equipment. o Equipment Setup or evaluation. o Operation of the equipment for some period of time before turning it over to production. o Equipment layout. o Process documentation. o Train employees on equipment setup and operation o Assist Maintenance to insure the proper operation of equipment. • New Part Introduction (NPI) o Build \ Assemble new parts “Proto types” o Test and collect data. o Build initial production runs. o Develop process work instructions o Train production employees to transition new parts from engineering to production. • Supporting company policies, procedures, goals, objectives, and good manufacturing practices. • Support other Duties as assigned.
